U11AA Charity Hockey Game Dec 7
Hello Supporters,
My name is Josh, and I am the head coach of the CAC team that you have generously supported this season.
First of all, THANK YOU for your support! It has allowed me to provide the players with valuable development opportunities, including training resources and tournament entry fees.
As part of our seasonal plan, we focus not only on developing strong athletes, but also on helping our players become positive, contributing members of their community. This year, the team will be collecting donation items for the Mustard Seed. To make this initiative even more meaningful (and fun!), we’ll be adding a special twist to one of our exhibition games—similar to the infamous “Teddy Bear Toss.” Instead of stuffed animals, fans are encouraged to throw donated items onto the ice when the first goal is scored.
Please see the attached invitation for game details. The players and I would love to see you there and truly appreciate your continued support!
Why the Mustard Seed?
The Mustard Seed is a non-profit organization that has been caring for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. Operating in seven cities across Western Canada, The Mustard Seed is a supportive haven where people can have their physical, mental, and spiritual needs met and grow toward greater health and independence. (Bonus part is that the donations go straight to those in need rather than being filtered through a big corporation)
Thank you,
Josh Baron - Head Coach
