Edmonton, AB — CAC Hockey is proud to host its 5th annual Hockey Loves Moms Games, a special event celebrating the women who play an essential role in the lives of minor hockey players while continuing a strong tradition of community giving.
The Hockey Loves Moms Games highlight the impact of moms, grandmothers, and female role models who support young athletes both on and off the ice. Throughout the event, players take time to recognize and honour the women who encourage, volunteer, and inspire them every day.
Now in its fifth year, the Hockey Loves Moms initiative has raised more than $60,000 for community organizations. Past beneficiaries include the Lois Hole Hospital for Women and The Zebra Centre, reflecting CAC Hockey’s commitment to supporting causes that strengthen and protect families.
This year, CAC Hockey has chosen YESS (Youth Empowerment & Support Services) as its charitable partner. Funds raised during the games will support YESS in providing critical resources, safety, and opportunities for vulnerable youth in the Edmonton community.
