U13AA CO-COACH

It’s an honor to lead such a talented group of young athletes with this amazing club. I look forward to sharing my passion for hockey, my dedication to the game, and my commitment to creating a positive and competitive environment. I take pride in getting to know each player individually, helping them grow as hockey players, and teaching them the importance of teamwork, discipline, and community involvement.

When he’s not at the rink, Josh enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and exploring new
trails in the river valley.

Mike Bradley grew up in Edmonton and played high-level hockey as a goaltender for multiple clubs across the city, including CAC. He was selected to play for Team Brick, a prestigious milestone in his early hockey journey. His path led him to compete at both the Jr A and Jr B levels, where he ultimately discovered his true passion—coaching and developing young players.

Mike brings a wealth of experience and passion to the rink, with several years of coaching at high levels including Jr B, U16 AAA, U15 AAA, and U11 Tier 1. Most recently, he has spent the past five seasons coaching at Whitemud West, where he has consistently developed and led successful, athlete-centered programs focused on long-term growth and player confidence.

Mike is proud to contribute to the development of young athletes and is dedicated to helping them succeed both on and off the ice. Away from the rink, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his wife and two sons.

Brad is alumni of CAC playing for 3 seasons prior to leaving for the WHL. Brad played in the WHL for 5 years, winning the WHL Championship with the Kootenay Ice in 2000. He then captained the Seattle Thunderbirds in 2001 before departing the WHL to play for the University of Alberta Golden Bears, where he played for 5 seasons and won 2 National Championships. To further his hockey career, Brad then played 4 years professionally in Germany in the DEL.

Brad has 7 years of coaching experience in minor hockey and employs the coaching philosophy that “every time you are on the ice is an opportunity to get better." A big believer in team building, Brad aims to make every player feel a part of the team and enjoy being at the rink. Brad aims to understand each player as an individual and what they require to grow and develop both on and off the ice. He also believes that hockey teaches kids a number of life skills which can be used throughout their lives; these can be developed throughout the year - such as hard work, dedication, confidence and accountability. Brad's goal is for the kids to improve their skills as hockey players and develop knowledge of the preparation and analysis of the game so that they can take these skills and techniques with them wherever their hockey careers take them.

Brad has found memories of his time at CAC and is thrilled to be back at the club as a coach and mentor for the players in the program. Being a part of the game at the minor hockey level has been very special for Brad and he loves to see the kids achieve their team and individual goals while creating lifelong friendships with their teammates.

J.T. Bartlett, is honored to return as the Head Coach for the U15 AAA Volvo Edmonton Canadians. This will be his eleventh season behind the bench, with stops in St. Albert and Parkland County.

Prior to joining CAC, he was the Head Coach of the U15 AAA PAC Saint and spent three years as an Assistant Coach with the St. Albert U18 AAA Raiders. He prides himself on developing excellent human beings and great hockey players through teaching them what it means to compete, playing as a unified group, developing skills of resilience, and driving home a passion for the game. His staff and him are excited to hit the ground running running work with the incredible athletes CAC has to offer.

 U16AA

Tim has had the privilege and passion to coach for the past 40+ years in and around the Edmonton area with 25 of those at the Elite level. His coaching career has allowed him to experience every level from U15AA to U18AAA to last year's CAC U15AA Imperial Equities team, where we had an incredible run. Beyond his coaching success 15 years as a scout in the AJHL  & BCJHL, Player consulting, numerous years as a hockey school instructor, and giving back through community service events. Like any coach, some accomplishments will always be memorable from attaining his HP1 certification to having the pleasure and incredible experience of coaching against Team Canada’s Women’s Team in 2014 as they prepared for the Olympics…. Winning 3-2.

Every coach has their own philosophy and ideas for their teams and players which is fantastic and each year every player moving up should bring 2-3 positive things they’ve been taught. This will help them personally develop each year building on the knowledge they’ve been given, lessons learned, and experiences whether good or bad….. we should never stop learning. From our staff’s standpoint and for this year's team, we believe in developing basic skills, advanced skills, and personal skills within a structured team-first concept and teaching today’s athletes valuable life lessons through communication and accountability that’s required beyond the hockey world. Every player will be exposed to high-level drills, AAA expectations, a Jr A type atmosphere, and be expected to act professional and classy on and off the ice. Even more important is how to connect with players which is his strongest asset whether it’s at the amateur level or the Pro level. If you don’t have the connection, respect, or confidence from your players you’ll never have true success. Lastly, he believes winning isn’t everything or a gauge for success it’s about personal, team, and club development to prepare players for the next level of hockey and becoming a stronger young person.

Tim is excited and honored to be back at CAC for another season, it was an easy decision as they are a Club that truly believes in the player, team and personal development is and should be the main focus. He feels with this many years at the Elite hockey level he has a true understanding of what it takes to develop players, and he brings a staff that will be a huge asset in our team's overall success.
