Brendan Patrick O’Loughlin
February 23, 1993 - January 25, 2020
”It is with unbearable grief we share the news of the passing of our beautiful boy. Brendan was dearly loved by his close family, and many wonderful friends; we will all miss him.
He was the life force of the party and lived a lifetime in his short 26 years. Brendan loved to laugh and enjoyed the humorous side of life. Oh, the stories his friends could tell.
A welder by trade, he worked for Priority Mechanical for 6 years. Brendan loved his nickname ‘welder boy’ as his many work friends called him. He will be missed.
Depression and addiction can take it all away. Although we loved, supported, and desperately tried to help him during his darker times, we could not save him.
Left to mourn are his loving parents Pat and Susan, his adoring sister Christine, grandparents Ron and Darilyn Hill, Godparents Uncle Dave and Auntie Julianne, and his many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brendan was pre-deceased by his grandparents Terence and Margaret O’Loughlin.
A huge thanks to all his buddies, the boys he grew up with, who rallied around the family in our time of need. Special thanks to Curtis Haracsi and Dyana Pewarchuk (his best friend and roomies), his cousin Conor (his lifetime buddy); his long time friend Michael Pasemko (Brendan will be standing with you in spirit at your upcoming wedding) and friend Savannagh Issawi with whom he shared a special bond. Brendan had many friends, he loved you all.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to YegTalks.ca, a platform for mental health awareness.
