George McKenzie Scholarship Award

We are pleased to announce, commencing in 2023, another Scholarship will be made available at the Canadian Athletic Club (CAC). The McKenzie family has graciously stepped forward to establish the George McKenzie Scholarship Award at $1,500.  Gloria McKenzie, along with daughters Kim, Sheri, Maria, and son Jordie dedicate this Scholarship in George’s memory for the decades of his contribution to the CAC.  Sadly, George passed away in January 2021.

George volunteered tirelessly at the CAC for 52 years and held numerous roles, from equipment manager, manager, and treasurer to President.  He proudly founded the CAC hockey school.

On behalf of all of us at the CAC, we express our sincere appreciation to the McKenzie family for the George McKenzie Scholarship Award to ensure his legacy is recognized at the CAC.
